The short version
As of this writing, Woodworking Cove runs no analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts. The only personal data this site collects is what you choose to hand over directly: an email address if you subscribe, or a message if you use the Contact page.
Newsletter / membership signup
This site runs on Ghost, which offers an optional free email subscription and an optional paid membership tier. If you sign up:
- Free signup only requires an email address, stored to send you new posts if you opt in.
- Paid membership, if you choose it, is billed and processed by Stripe — Woodworking Cove never sees or stores your card details. Stripe's own privacy policy governs that payment data.
You can unsubscribe or cancel a membership at any time from the account settings link in any email you receive, or by asking via the Contact page.
Affiliate links
Some links on this site are Amazon Associates affiliate links (see the Affiliate Disclosure). Clicking one takes you to Amazon, which has its own privacy policy and may set its own cookies — that is between you and Amazon, not something this site controls or sees.
Server logs
Like any website, the hosting infrastructure behind this site keeps standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability. This is routine web-server behavior, not active tracking of individual visitors.
Your data, your control
To see what data is held about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted, contact via the Contact page. This policy may be updated as the site changes — the date at the top always reflects the latest version.
